Sporting a sleek, modern design, this electric countertop grill provides 100 square inches of cooking surface for everything from six hamburgers at a time to grilled-cheese sandwiches, panini sandwiches, fresh summer vegetables, and more. Its two fixed grill plates supply a double nonstick coating to help promote lower-fat cooking (no need for butter or oils) and to ensure effortless food release of even the most delicate foods. The unit's signature Foreman heating elements deliver fast heat-up times and even heat across the entire cooking surface, from the center all the way to the edges, while its patented sloped design offers an optimal grilling angle, which allows fat and grease to drain off for healthier meals and reduced smoke when cooking. Even more, a sliding lever on the lid makes it easy to adjust the temperature from minimum to maximum heat. Other highlights include a stay-cool integrated handle, a power indicator light, a simple on/off switch, a drip tray to collect grease run-off, and a handy spatula for flipping food or transferring it to a plate. The grill measures approximately 16 by 15-1/5 by 7 inches.

I read other reviewers' comments on this unit being awkward to use and messy when cleaning. If one wants one that has confident removeable plates and is easy to handle, then go for a smaller and more expensive one. But for myself, wanting to cook more than one tiny steak or small burgers at a time, the suface area was perfect for me. It heats quick enough and fits fine in the cookware drawer.
